He was the one that was seen pointing the gun out of the window by the other people who were there. They obviously did not see who pulled the trigger because they were all running away from the car that pulled up and demanded money. You'll also never hear that race had something to do with it because they were a few white kids who just finished shooting pool at one of the kids parent's pool hall in a primarily hispanic neighborhood. Bernals handprints were all over the gun. The gun and bullets were found in his drawer at his home... So some retard prosecutor decided to hang his case on bullet markings from the gun... The only defense that Bernal had was he noticed someone else left the gun and he was going to return it to him, who he conveniently blames for the shooting because the little (explicative) ran off to mexico. My point is while looking up this case 14 yrs later the only thing that you read about is that this guy was wrongly convicted and sent to death row because he was 1 day short of being 18 yrs old, and that he's some kind of innocent saint... Now I did some really really stupid things when I was in my late teens but I knew better than to demand money from someone and commence to shooting them in the back when they ran in absolute terror. That's heartless and cowardess. Was it premeditated? probably not, Racially motivated? Yes. does he deserve to die? ...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22223580.post-10188470384027804162008-07-09T14:55:00.000-07:002008-07-09T14:55:00.000-07:00Reading this reminds me of this blog I read this m...Reading this reminds me of this blog I read this morning on the Pitch website about a district attorney in KC screwing up any chance of this guy getting the death penalty.
