Duane Buck
By Elizabeth Stein
Producer, Execution Watch
Attorneys for Duane Buck are struggling to win a stay before his scheduled execution Thursday for a
double homicide in Houston.
Buck's death sentence was unconstitutional, they say, because it was issued following testimony from a prosecution witness that Buck was more likely
to commit future violence because he is black.
If a stay is not issued by Thursday at 6 p.m. Central Time,
Execution Watch will provide live coverage and commentary.

Id say, let the punishment fit the crime, if they raped, murdered, or any other crime that killed the victim, id say kill em also, why do they get to live while the victims family mourns? he chose his path. I would like it in every state. for life terms, it just costs money to feed, and house them
